op shop ‘Bus stop 30 + 2’
Dernancourt Uniting Church’s Op shop ‘Bus stop 30 + 2’ has been an integral part of the local community for over 25 years. It is located in Holden Hill, on Sutherland St where it intersects Lyons Road. The shop is staffed entirely by volunteers, both church members and community members. The aim is to provide low cost clothing and household goods to those in need . It is also a place where people can drop in for a chat and pick up free bread on Monday mornings. Any profit goes back into local community activities/charities that provide other services for the community.Opening hours: Monday to Thursday: 9- 3 (to 4 pm on Monday and Thurs)Closed over Christmas until 13 Jan 2025

meet & greet
Trevor and Ruth oversee this marvellous ministry, which, every two months, at 5pm Sunday, offers our community an opportunity to 'meet' the church and enjoy presentations of contemporary music, great food, and a guest speaker.
spring fair
Each year, in the Spring, we have a huge fair, which the church spends the year preparing for. It enables us to engage with our community, provide a variety of items for purchase, and raise money for investing back into our community.
